2020 WATER IN MONTE FOR THE FIST TIME

The biggest school we support, Saint Antonios of Monte, is for the first time connected to the water grid, following Agapis Heria initiative. The creation of infrastructure and pipes to transfer water from the source cost 9.000 euro and was covered by Alpha Cyprus TV Channel.

Following the water transfer, our group undertook the second phase of the project, building the necessary infrastructure to use water (e.g. construction of showers, toilets, sinks, taps, etc.).

The school serves 664 students of primary and secondary education levels and houses 348 at the school dorms. All children receive lunch at school. Access to clean, running water increases the quality of life of the students and the school staff.
